Anyone know when the temporary block on the twrp files will be over? Every time I click on it I get the following message:

That link is probably permanently dead. This us not an active thread anymore.
What rom do you plan to install?
The latest TWRP can be found here:

That one works with Katkiss, the latest rom for this tablet.

Now I just need to know how to use it with Easyflash.... I have never used Easyflash before. Thank you for your help. I just got this tablet from my dad as a hand me down for my son and the ROM is too old to run newer apps.

You can download EasyFlasher from it's original thread here: EasyFlasher - Install CWM/Root/unbrick in on… | Asus Eee Pad Transformer TF101
This will install an outdated TWRP version though. I think 2.3.x or something. But that doesn't matter. The point is to get any kind of recovery onto your tab. Once you installed TWRP through EasyFlasher just reboot once and then flash the 2.8 recovery I linked to earlier in your current TWRP version.
Then all what's left is doing a full format of /data in TWRP. It takes 1 hour plus - do not interrupt it! Then flash the rom from your microSD.
Good luck!

Hi and many thanks to Frederuco to this very helpful guide to flashing a custom ROM to the TF101! These instructions are spot on perfect. After installing the KatKiss the Transformer is working like new now. Very grateful.
After reading through the pages of replies it might help other newbies to know that when you go into the APX mode ( vol up + vol down + power button, and holding all three down for a few seconds) the TF101 screen will stay black. As Frederuco notes, if you already have the TF101 connected to your computer when you go into APX mode, you will hear a sound from your computer letting you know its in the APX mode. If you see anything on the screen of your TF101 or don't hear it connect try again.
Also if you have Windows 7, 8 or 10, save yourself a headache by following the instructions to disable Windows searching automatically online for drivers, before you even think of connecting the TF101.
Again thank you for this guide!

I have been unable to find any solution to the problem that Windows 10 will not install the Universal Naked Driver because there is no hash in the cat file. I have permanently turned off requiring digital signatures on drivers until the driver is installed. Is there a substitute driver that will work so I can continue with Easy Flash and the rest of the procedure? Any work around will be greatly appreciated.

I got it to work. Just plain operator error. I finally got everything to work with KatKiss 4.4.4_036.

Followed your guide Frederuco with my TF101, apart from a few Win 10 issues, installed Timduru's KK4.4.4_036, works a treat.
Thanks to all at Transformer forums & XDA developers.
