Custom kernals that fix random reboots and then getting stuck on Asus Screen

Is it true that the test kernel found on XDA might fix these problems? Anyone find any ROM/Kernel combos they have been having good luck with?

    Best combo for me

The best Rom for stability and all round use is Revolution 3.2.2 and Best Kernal is Guevor's test 13, for me anyway.

I have tried all the roms , some have some pluses but I have always returned to above combo.

Just backup what you are running and give it a try.

I have been using the Megatron ROM with the kernel it comes with and haven't had any random reboots or freezing as of yet. Its been around a week I think.

And how do you flash kernels again? I'm having trouble finding instructions.

Download the kernel, boot to CWM and install zip from sdcard.

    Select your kernel.

    Install - Yes

Clear Cache and Davlik Cache (Davlik is in Advanced).

    Reboot.

If you flash a ROM, you will have to re-flash the kernel.

The first kernel I tried was Guevor's test18 (for overclocking) and I had good luck with it (70+ hours). I thought battery life wasn't as great though, so am still experimenting with newer versions.
