Exclamation Help with a Recovery boot loop problem

My tf101 boots straight into CWM. i have to cold boot to get it to boot to android.

The CWM that comes up is a mod by Roach2010. However, ROM manager states that i have the latest CWM by koush installed.

If someone could direct me to a .zip recovery to try to flash over Roach2010's CWM...or explain how to install recoveries that are save as .img.

Anything at this point would be helpful. Thanks

Best way would be to look for one that is packaged to flash through CWM. There are .zip packages out there just for flashing new recoveries through CWM. That's what I would do at this point since you already have CWM installed, it becomes easy. Do a google search for "install CWM for a TF101" and you should find such packages, xda-developers is probably the best site for these, but google works better than their search function.

Sounds to me like you have 5.5.0.4 installed which has a bug that boots straight to recovery.

Here is the recovery I have used (it is Gnufabio version 3.X.X.X) and cannot see the internal /sdcard/, but only FAT32 microSD cards.

Flashing a new .zip recovery through Roach2010's 3.2.0.1 - r1 CWM was a no go.

i tried flashing three different recoveries only to still be stuck with the same Roach mod.

is there a way to get rid of recovery?

Guys, i still cant get a different CWM on my tablet. roach2010's version refuses to be replaced.
also still boots straight into recovery without having to hold volume down.

is there a way to remove CWM?

If you flash a stock ROM from the ASUS site through CWM, it should replace it with stock recovery. You will also be back to 100% stock unrooted.

I would suggest grabbing the .17 firmware as it is still rootable using NachoRoot/ViperMOD. The .21 can be a bit trickier to root.
