Easy way to root and stay rooted?

I was on xda last nite looking for an easier way to root without using adb. I found this site and linked to it from xda..is this as big as I
think it is? Read past the saved boxes and watch the how to video. I can't wait to give it a try. Any reason not to? Opinions?

    • root explore or other root only file explorers
    • adfree
    • cache cleaners
    • backing up apps and their data
    • app freezing
Those right there are enough reasons for me.

It will work with any version including 3.1 and probably anything in the future from Asus.

It works with whatever rom you plug into it before you run it. They just happen to have a 3.1 slightly
    tweaked rom called 1.4 prime.

It also has CWM built in so you can flash future roms from that tool. I think you only run Nvflash only
once. I'm trying to understand it before I get the guts to do it.

If anyone can break it down to the idiot's guide to Nvflash, feel free!

OK. I have been reading alot of stuff since yesterday. Here is what I have got sunk into my technically challenged brain.

    1. The nvFlash process will put the WW version of 3.1 on your TF. (this is the prime 1.4 rom). I don't know what that means for us in the US.
    2. You can then thru the CWM reflash a US prime 1.4 ( where you get this file I don't have a clue )
    3. When you do this nvFlash process it wipes your tablet.
    4. They are working on a similiar process to just root the stock 3.1 and this will not wipe your tablet.

So I still have not done anything yet and will probably wait for this new flash to come out just to root.

Well- here's a link to a US 3.1 - repacked for rooted tablets- original asus stock 3.1 repacked for rooted tablets. Must already be rooted to use.

As of now you can't plug any ROM you want into it, it must ne a ROM implemented to be use with the NVFlash.

The only ROM that work with the NVFlash as of now is the Prime v1.4 WW

but after that is done and you have root plus CWM recovery you can proceed to flash ANY rooted ROM you like.
    (Plus kernels, ect....)

Well I flashed the nvFlash and I did great. I then flashed the tweaked magnus ultimate supreme 3.1.5 rom and I am liking it very much. This one has all the little fixes already built in. If you know how to use clockworkmod and follow the video you will have no problems.
