On XDA there is lots of info on the benefits of rooting and what it can do for you. My main one was being able to use titanium backup to save my set up of my tablet. I lost it last week and it was very annoying to find all my apps and tweaks again. There are also many fixes to the original stock rom- the speaker problem being one. Overclocking on demand to use its full potential is another. Replacing system apps or removing them completely is another.
The devs are just starting to put out custom roms that are worth rooting for. It is just what works for you. I'm an iphone hacker, so I just want to make my tablet work for my needs. I had it stock for a month and it's great. Now it's better. For me. Everyone else's needs are different. I don't do ADB very well. So nvFlash was great and easy. But for those of us in the USA you need to reflash a US rom after you do the nvFlash via clockworkmod. Do your research, know what you are doing, and if something goes wrong, don't panic. Reach out for help. Someone will bail you out with info to fix your screw-up. You just may have to wait a day or 2. Good luck to anyone who is brave enough to go out of your comfort zone.

So, to reflash Do I just put 'US epad user 8.4.4.5.zip'? Or do i have to use different file? Do I have to do it in recovery mod or just by putting sd card in while TF is on?
Can you maybe write how to reflash US rom? this will help lots of US version people. Thank you in advance.

after you have flashed the nv flash and have root with CWM, put your rom on an external sd card zipped and flash using recovery. Read up on CWM and how to use if you're not sure how it works. I posted a link to a good tutorial. Search "how to use clockworkmod" in this forum for the link.
