Originally never thought about this option. Sold it on ebay for a very good price (as-is ofcourse). I was wondering is there any other way to protect the email and data in the account. I changed the google account password. There is nothing much I could do for the photos. Very few blurry photos taken by my 2-year old. Who takes photos with a tablet?

Is there something else I could do to remove the device from my google account? I can only hide it from the play store, not more. Thank you all for the suggestions.

I'd just do a Factory Reset before selling.
It'll wipe all your data/photo's/apps etc. and return the unit to stock. (good for buyer as well as protecting your info)

There isn't a remove device at Google Play, just the 'don't display' option you mentioned. Odd that, yeah?

I would do that too. The unit is not charging and the battery is 0.1%
