What would be a good headset

I notice that the Transformer has only one plug for a headset so assume it requires a 4 pole jack which will feed both the earplugs and the microphone. I've read that a headset such as the iphone earphones with integrated mic should work. Unfortunately I don't like ear buds and prefer an over the ear headet with mic. Can anyone recommend a good reasonably priced headset that would work?

Also regarding headsets, I would like wireless ones and I notice that blue tooth wireless earphones are cheapest. I assume I could use these to listen to movies, music, etc???

Bluetooh ones are dandy and all, but they tend to die pretty fast. Also, you have to make sure that the bluetooth headset supports A2DP. If it doesn't support A2DP then it won't stream. Only calls and what not.

    You could also try this:

Advanced Rechargeable Clip-On Bluetooth V2.0 Stereo Headset Converter

I have one and its pretty sweet.

Yeah. And it has a built in Mic! So you can use whatever headsets you want to listen, and then just clip that on the top part of your shirt and just talk. Eliminates the one ear issue with a standard bluetooth headset. Its pretty sweet. I will say that the power adapter is a little annoying. I hate things that don't use a USB type charger. But it works just fine. To each their own I guess.

Not sure what you mean. The bluetooth device itself has a volume control that you can use to control the volume on the device. I didn't notice any difference in sound level.

The audio port: I have a very good pair of ear buds I like a lot. They should work (no microphone)? Powered speakers with an 1/8" stereo plug work??
