THats not bad at all eudora, but just be sure that you are getting the 32gb. I have seen some people buy off of eBay and either get a knockoff, or getting a 2gb instead of whatever they ordered.

I'd love to see a poll of the cards folks are using? I was considering a 32GB Class 10, but keep seeing folks say it's "overkill." If it is a decent card and can read/write at 10Mb/s then why not right? Can we clarify the "overkill" part a bit more? Don' want to shell out the dough if it's not needed.

Go for it if you want. Most people just cant justify the price for the performance. If you can afford it, go for it, it'll be fast.

I'm kinda at the fence about putting my 16G card in. I originally bought it for my Evo but took it back, so I still got the card. I don't like how it's just sitting there in the slot and there's no cover for it.

It may be in there tight but I'm afraid I'll hit it by accident and it'll fly out. It's no big deal indoors but if it's outside in the grass, well it might go bye-bye, if it fly's out... I'm kinda annoy why Asus designed it this way.

The problem is, no one knows for sure it's a official 32G card or not. There's alot of knock-offs being sold on ebay claiming to be 32G when it's really something less, like 2G.

I picked up a Kingston 16GB class 4 ( SDC4/16GB) from Buy.com for @$20. It just arrived in the mailbox. Popped it in the adapter, stuck it in the PC reader slot, and copied the TF101 PDF manual, and a test mp3. Slipped it in the TF slot and it recognized it right away. MyLibrary displays the manual very well.

Hi, can someone who knows about micro SD spec's help me. I've bought a 32 GB card on Amazon marketplace for the Transformer I hope will arrive from Amazon next week. It arrived today so I ran some tests but I don't know if the results are reasonable for a class 10 card run in a full sized SD card adapter.

If you look at this LINK on Wikipedia and scroll down to x rating you will find a table that "... lists common ratings, the minimum transfer rates, and the corresponding Speed Class." You might be able to glean the information you are looking for from there.

I too am uber confused about SD card classification. Is there a difference between standardSD and SDHC? If so, which on is on the TF? I bought an microSD card on ebay before finding this post and I'm hoping that it will work. Can anyone confirm? Price seemed too good to be true so we'll see.

standard SD (micro, mini, etc) is considered anything below 2gb. SDHC was then developed to handle storage capacties greater than 2GB. SDXC is even more storage capacity. They had to break them down like that because not all devices can handle SDHC (mostly older ones). This is called form factor.

Classes are the categorization of how fast each card can run. So far, the number corresponds to the MB/s the card can read, or to put it simply, how fast the card can read and write data. So a Class 4 has a MINIMUM read/write speed of 4 MB/s. Class 6 is 6 MB/s.

Notice how I capitalized minimum? This is because the classes determine what the card can read/write at a minimum as well. Some cards perform beyond their classification. For example, I purchased a 32gb Class 4 microSD card. But all of the tests and reviews states that it almost runs as fast as the class 6 cards. Class 10 IS overkill.
