    MicroSD card? size? manufacturer? speed?

I am interested in buying a microSD card. I would like to buy it once as to have it fill all my needs? When i research them there are so
many options and manufacturers. I would like to have one card to work from gaming to music to pics, apps etc...
Are there some manufacturers that are more reputable than others?
What is most important? Class? Sd,sdhc, sdxc? Size i think is pretty self explanatory? I think? I definitely would like some help or
education about this purchase. Thank you everyone for opinions.

Ooops maybe i should have posted in accesories. IDK how to move this?

You may need to do some research on your own for selecting the manufacturer but if you purchase a card that has a well known name, from a reputable vendor you should be OK. Class 6 or better is advisable if you will use it for playing movies, but for storage class 4 would be fine and may even work for the movies as well.

You may need to come down to Earth to get one

Class 4 or better, and watch out where you buy from, as there are some dodgy ones knocking around on some auction sites!

You really only need a Class 10 card if you are going to be recording HD video

And please do yourself a favor by applying the fake card test after you got one.

I've been looking at the Lexar 32GB micro sdhc for a while, It's 26.99 on Amazon but am waiting for it to get cheaper as it was going for 17.99 before christmas. It's class 10 and you also get a usb card reader with it.

Agree. I only buy from reputable vendors, and I test every single flash memory I buy (flash drive, CF, SD cards...)

I recommend using h2testw. Google will provide download links.

Same here. Some people reported the card dying. So two lessons here : back up often, and be aware that there's a 10 year warranty for the card in the U.S. (UK may differ).
