anyone know what the official case is made of?
-
not quite sure although ive seen it in person [my co-worker has it] andpersonally i won't pick it up. It looks awful and the camera hole in the back is rather janky. going to pick up a harder case when i get a hold of the dock so that I can just stick it in there like i would a laptop and keep it safe. just my opinion though.

I have this case for my Samsung NC10 and bought another one today for my Transformer.
The padded case easily fits the Transformer and has a small zippered pocket that can hold small items like a cable or extra microSD cards. I'm not sure how much room there is for the dock.

Yea I really want some kind of leather folio

I'm currently using a folio case designed for the Advent Vega tablet. Exactly the right shape but the cutouts are not in the right places.

I have the 10inch Sumdex Aircube Check-Quick sleeve. Love it and it fits perfectly. Paid over $30 last fall and now they are online for 12-15. Great to throw in my existing bag

I have read horribly reviews about the official ASUS case for the TF. The stand isn't sturdy so when you use the touchscreen it bounces. It doesn't allow for docking. It has a somewhat rubber lip that apparently makes it hard to hold. Some state there is no slot through the case for the micro SD card. Not sure what fabric it is, but based off reviews its like a neoprene. Plus its $40.
I don't have my TF yet, but its about to ship. So I went ahead and ordered the accessories. I checked the measurements for the case below against the size of the tablet and dock, and it seems like it will fit just perfectly. The case also has an external zipper pouch that you can slide in some smaller items, such as perhaps a spare microsd card, or perhaps a microsd to SD adapter. Not sure how well it will hold the charger, as I have yet to see a picture of one. If I could pick up an extra charger though, I would try and splice it to make it USB on one end and use a USB to AC adapter. I've said it once and I'll say it again, I hate things that don't charge via USB.

No. Sin is much uglier.
