I see several of You talking about percentages in relativley presice measurements of Your dock, how are You able to see this?
I can not find the battery status for my dock anywhere.
The only thing I can find about the battery status for the dock is the following text in the user manual:
    (homemade translation :P )

    Indicator for batterycharging (double colour)
Green ON: Batterystrenght is between 95% and 100%
Orange ON: Batterystrenght is less than 95%
Orange blinking: Batterystrenght is lower than 10%
Orange blinking fast: Batterystrenght is lower than 3%
    Here you go:

its not 100% precise but it works pretty good by my experience

I'm doing another "unscientific" (although I'd call it a real world test) with both the tablet and keyboard dock charged to 100% then right after disconnecting the tablet from the keyboard dock to keep both near 100% for the travel time to work then reconnecting them at work and seeing how the over all batt. % does while staying connected to the keyboard. Yesterday I had just the tablet drain to about 13% before leaving work. Keyboard dock was never used and had 99 - 100%. That was about 7.5 hrs of use.

At the 7.5 mark at work it had 97% on the tablet and 5% on the Keyboard dock. Tried to do similar habits. I definitely feel I could get more out of the TF by keeping the tablet undocked although, either way I could recharge the dock seperate without being tied to the charging cord. That's a nice feeling.

I agree with the others here, and I didn't know it or read up on it, but, the dock DOES use it's battery power when connected to the TF, whether it's on standby or completely off. At first, I thought there was something wrong with the battery, but I learned how it worked.

Now, I just keep the TF undocked until I'm actually going to use the keyboard for something.

My experience was different.. i get more battery life when i leave them both connected. I drained my battery on the tablet first, (just for the hell of it) than docked it and the Dock battery started changing the tablet itself.. there was a lightning bolt icon going up on my empty battery meter on the tablet. It stopped after it reached 50% tablet and 50% dock. They seam to distribute the power accordingly.

Well, I only work for 8 hrs. I could try to wear out the tablet batt so that it uses the keyboard batt but... I'm thinkin at this point it's not really that big a deal. lol
