Angry sd card vs micro sd card under "removable"

Is this a joke? NONE OF MY APPS RECOGNIZE THE MICRO SD CARD under "removable". All apps only recognize sd card not micro sd card. Im returning this POS unless someone figures out a solution. I cant believe no one else is unhappy about this. Wake up zombies. Asus should have made this clear before selling the transformer to the general public. I like Asus, but this was a huge mistep that has caused me weeks of frustration. I cannot find a solution ANYWHERE.

Since the MicroSD cards work so well for so many people did it occur to you that the problem is with your card. It certainly isn't ASUS's responsibility that you have that problem. If you're going to flame someone flame the place that sold you the card, OR figure out what YOU may be doing wrong.

I suggest you approach the problem with a little less anger.

What apps are you using that's trying to access the micro SD and failing? I've opened MP3, AVI and MKV on micro SD, using the default music app and Mobi Player. Using the file browser I've managed to open others as well.

I have encountered some apps that is not able to access the micro SD card. The problem is with the app.

By the way, if you're trying to move your app to the micro SD card, that does not work under Honeycomb. With 16GB (or 32GB) of memory, it's also not necessary.

I am with these folks. First, the microSD in Honeycomb is much different than the microSD in previous devices in how the OS handles it from my understanding. There are some apps that have not been re-written to be able to access the /Removable/ folder and access the microSD. This is not ASUS's fault but app developers who do not care to re-write for the different location that only applies to tablets (which is a small percentage of all android devices).

I have had very few issues getting the files I want opened in the app I want.

We will gladly help you if you can be more specific on one or two apps that you are having issues with and we will get those worked out and move on to other apps that are causing you heartburn.

If this is really giving you that much of an issue and causing you this much rage then perhaps a tablet with only one way to do things is more your style (also it won't be able to use a microSD card either).

Calm down. Many of us had a little learning curve with the Transformer having used Windows for many years. We can get you up and going in no time. Just take some deep breaths, and we will help you get the most out of your TF. Once you get it figured out, it's a great Tablet!
