Asus Transformer Dock battery problem
I had my last dock for almost a month. Then it had a problem where its battery level on the dual battery widget showed up as "n/a". The charging light was blinking all the time and even after an all night charge the dock still didn't charge at all. So I decided to get a replacement last friday. Today 5 days after receiving the replacement I'm having the SAME issue on it as well! What gives?!
edit: I kept the Transformer docked most of the day. When my dock battery level didnt show up as n/A it was at 3% before i tried charging it. My transformer charges from the usb charging adapter just fine. My replacement has a B80 serial number.

Mine is doing the same thing right now, won't charge with or without the dock. Tried the freezer trick with no luck.

Some people suffer from bent prong syndrome. Did you take the usb apart from the brick to make sure the little prongs are not bent but seat correctly?

Just found my issue, dang cats chewed on the USB cable... just noticed it now.
(shaking head)
Nearest place that has a replacement is 60 miles from here.

Do you live in the US? Office Depot sells the charger for 30 bucks. If you need to replace the USB only, it has to be a 3.0. Probably the spare ones laying around the house won't likely work.

TRANSFORMER FORUMS LEGEND
Silly felines....that stinks. Office Depot and TigerDirect (CompUSA) usually have them in stock.

I'm experiencing the same problem. The dock does not charge but when I plugged the usb charger the charging light was on but not blinking. Anyone has suggestions?

Hey All:
I too am having an issue with my ASUS keyboard not charging...I plug it in and it just continues to blink. I've tried with the TF docked and I've tried without it, however the result is the same...no charge on the dock. Anyone find a solution, please help.
thanks

Install Dual Battery Widget from the Market. https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result
This way we can actually see the docks battery level.
Try a hard reset with it docked. To do this, power down and then press and hold VOL DOWN and the LOCK button for 10 seconds and an icon pops up. Some text will appear about wiping the data. Press the down button again to cancel the wipe.
Now plug the Docked TF into the power supply and see if DBW shows the dock charging. Lets us know if this fixes the problem

i experienced this as well. funny it did go away and i don't know what i've done
here are the things i tried:
uninstall and reinstall dual battery widget
restart tf
*make sure the latch of the dock goes all the way to the right when docked. i've had problems with dual bat widget on the early days when i thought i am docking the tf to the dock right (where the latch is about 3/4 to the right) i found out that the middle connector is fully connected bet the tf and the dock when the latch is completely to the right.
