Exclamation Random Reboot without the booting back up part black screen HELP!

    Prime 1.7/Ubuntu dual boot
I was listening to music on my tf while playing a game, and it did a random reboot. Irritating, but no biggie. Except then It didn't boot. I tried unplugging it from the dock, holding power button, pwr+vol_up, pwr+vol_down, nothing. I tried plugging it back into the keyboard, plugging the keyboard into the wall adapter, plugging just the tablet into the wall adapter, nothing. No boot logo, Windows doesn't detect it as being in APX mode when I plug it in and hold pwr+vol_up, I've got NOTHING. Someone please help.

What happens when it is plugged in to the wall wart charger when it is not in APX mode?

Also, one other thing to try that has worked for a few users is a 20 second press and hold on the lock/power button.

YES! It took closer to 30 seconds, but it's booting now thank you so much!

Awesome! I just read that little nugget earlier today. Glad we got you back up and running.

    Any other issues, ask away.

Also, welcome to the forum. Looks like you have been a long time listener and a first time caller.

Mine stays at the beginning with the rotating dots and goes back and forth with ASUS display. I tried hard reset and it doesn't go away. In trouble. Help! Thanks.

Did you try holding the power button for 30 seconds when it is off as indicated above?

Sorry, my problem was it kept recycling and it cannot be shutdown until the battery died. I ended up "wipe all data" and reinstalled all settings, apps, etc...... annoying. Thanks.

    BTW, what is AXP mode?

I am not sure what APX stands for, but it puts the TF in a mode that is accessable via the USB charger cable from a Computer to do programming for android developers using the SDK, but this also allows a way to root the TF using the NV Flash or One Click root methods.

Thanks! I held the power button for approximately 20 seconds and it turned back on. This is the third time this has happened in as many days. I have not had this problem prior to the 3.2 plus updates.

    Can this problem be resolved?
