    Hi and welcome.

I would first back up your data, anything you do not want to loose, and then do a factory reset.

You will have to re-install your apps, but it should clean out any that could be causing problems.

You could use the App backup App on the TF to do this, but make sure it is backed up onto an external Micro SD card.

I have read that a FR really helps.

Oh, and the reason I do not suggest that you back up your Apps as well, is that if you restored then all after the FR, you would be in the same state as now!

    Hi Badman,
What 14 says above is good advice & I recommend it to you. If you do decide to go back to HC AFAIK you can only do this if you root & flash your device. There is no OTA way of doing it. There are 2 or 3 threads on the site that deal with this.

PLEASE Search for existing threads before posting a new one. Thanks.

You should try the Factory reset. If unclear how to do this go to Settings> Backup & reset> Factory data reset.

My TF101 was virtually unusable until I finally did the Factory Reset 2 days ago. Then be cautious and check every app you reinstall. For most of us it has been apps/widgets that are causing the troubles because some are still not compatible to ICS.

However, there are some TF's that apparently have an issue with the NVidia Tegra 2 driver. A Factory reset won't help this but Asus is releasing a firmware fix for this within a week or so. But you won't know if that is your problem until you do the Factory Reset.

My TF has been working beautifully since I did the Factory Reset and I know now it was just apps that were causing my troubles and not the driver issue. I am now checking how my TF responds after each app I reinstall. And BTW once your TF is working with ICS you will love it! Much better than Honeycomb.

Definitely back up your data and try the factory reset on ICS.

Be sure to uncheck the option to restore your apps during the set up.

It it is still borked after the wipe you can follow this guide to get back to HC. Just download firmware 8.6.5.21 in Part 0

Hi, I have performed a factory reset like you recommended and its not really made a difference.it still reboots at random and sometimes the audio bombs out.

I am wondering what are my options? is there a fix for this from ASUS or should i revert back to HC

Well, your options are to wait for a fix from ASUS which may or may not fix your specific issue. Sometimes an issue may plague only a few devices but if it is not reported to ASUS they may never know about it.

The other option is to go back to HC as posted in post 5.
