Boot looped on stock TF101 (B70/SBKv2, no root/cwm/etc)

Hi all, a couple of months ago I bought a brand new TF101 from GameStop. It worked smoothly until a couple of weeks ago when it crashed and got into a boot loop. Wiping the data did the trick and I was up an running again with my Transformer... until a couple of days ago... I installed Dolphin HD and Opera Mobile and noticed that the tablet started crashing randomly (while using different apps, not just the browsers), so yesterday I decided to remove both.. Unfortunately it didn't help and the tablet continued to randomly crash, until one of those crashes got me into a boot loop again... "No big deal" i thought, "just need to wipe data again".. yeah sure... this time wiping data didn't help...

so my TF101 is boot looped now and I can find no way of rescuing it... I have the stock firmware (US 8.6.5.21) and have never rooted it... it seems nvflash is not an option here, since I have a B70 serial number and after doing some tests with nvflash I get a communication error (seems like it is a SBKv2 one)... I've been searching everywhere but still haven't find a solution for my problem...

Does anyone has any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Might want to get on the horn with ASUS or GameStop. They will probably want you to RMA to ASUS to have it fixed. Your other option is probably to get CWM installed and install a custom ROM, which you may or may not want to do. Have you tried the XDA forum? There may be somebody there who can help as well.

Yeah I'll try to contact Asus, though I'm not sure if there will be any issues, because I don't live in the US, a friend bought it for me while he was on vacation in Miami... As for installing CWM, is there a way to do it without root access? Or how can I get root access if I'm unable to boot? ... btw I have also asked on xda, but no response yet...

I believe you can use the ADB interface to install it, I haven't tried it on my TF101, only on my phones. Try searching the XDA-developers site, I bet there is a good guide in there, just remember, flashing a new recovery will probably void your warranty.

AFAIK, it is not possible to install CWM without root access, even if you use ADB. Since you have a SBKv2, it needs to boot to root.

THe only thing I can suggest is following the "Manual Update" link in my signature and try flashing the .21 firmware again.
