Unhappy A single touch being registered as a multi-touch

    Hi!

A few days ago I noticed my TF101 touch display started working weird. I downloaded multitouch app from Market and discovered, that there is a little spot in the upper left corner of the display, where a single touch is being registered as multi-touch, which ends up with me being unable to for example open a new tab in web browser. You can see it in this photo: display.jpg

Could it possibly be software related somehow? When I restart my Transformer, the problem goes away, but returns shortly after (from few minutes to hours).

    Thanks for help!

The test would be to uninstall the app and see if it goes away. The Android Market has a large number of apps that are quite buggy so it's would seem that if it started when you installed that app there is a connection.

It started before I installed the app. That's why I installed it in the first place to see what exactly is wrong.

Misread the original post. I haven't heard of anyone else having that problem and it seems it would be pretty obvious. 2 things come to mind. Possible torquing of the case or maybe it needs to be wiped down really well in that spot with a micro fiber cloth. I had a similar problem with one of my phones and a good cleaning corrected it. Just a thought.

It's possible there is some extra tension on that corner of the case so it flexed, causing the front glass to get strange. Twisted would be the same thing.
