    Delete

In the standard Email app that comes with the Transformer, how do you delete messages from the deleted list? If I click on the 'deleted' button I have all the messages I deleted from the 'inbox'. Is there a way to get rid of these previously deleted messages? I have hundreds of them and it will take hours to delete each one individually

This is a limitation of the stock Email client. Your best options are to use a webmail interface to empty the trash, or you can also try another app. I personally love Kaiten email. It is the same as K-9 but done for a tablet UI. You can do a select all of your trash and then delete them all.

You can also try MailDroid and see if that works too.

I opened Gmail on a PC and was able to delete them all - couple of months ago - I don't have a PC so can't look it up right now and can't recall exactly the procedure but it was fairly easy to find the option.

Thanks Swipe, however it is the stock Email client that is 'constipated'

Thanks for the tip. I was able to empty the trash folder with one click on my PC, just by logging in to my GMAIL account. Steve.
