First of all, thank you for the excellent resource. My new prime is the first android device I've ever owned, and the learning curve seems steep at times. However, I've been able to acquaint myself and answer a number of noobish questions by simply browsing the forum, so I thank you all!
One issue that I cannot find an answer for pertains to typing into a flash field. I simply cannot do it! The browser correctly displays the flash field, the text box within the field, and the cursor, but my virtual keyboard does not pop up. I have no idea how to manually bring it up, and my prime can't seem to detect that I need to enter text. Does anyone else have this problem?
FYI, I have tried accessing the same flash field, element or box each time, using several different browsers. I've also tried accessing different flash areas that require text input, with each browser, to no avail. I am running ICS, and so far I have used the stock browser, dolphin HD, Firefox, opera, and maxthon. I have Adobe flash and air installed. Also, text entry works fine on my PC. I don't currently have a dock, and haven't tried using any Bluetooth keyboards, as that would defeat the point of the tablet`s superior portability.
Please let me know if I need to provide anymore info. Really hope someone can help, as I need this to work for school ASAP!
Thanks very much,
SapientTrip
