Mini HDMI disappeared

I don't know if I am the only one this happened to. Anyway, last night, watching Netflix and it's absolutely beautiful. However, this morning, my Transformer doesn't recognize that the the HDMI cable is inserted. Played with it, tried to insert it with power on, power off, jiggle it, nothing helps. Purchased the TF101 about three weeks ago and it's been wonderful up to now. I'd appreciate any advice on what to do next.

BTW, the battery died as we were watching the movie (that annoying short cable doesn't reach an outlet). Could that be culprit?

Welcome to the forum, The short cable and dead battery could both have been an issue. My first suggestion is a good 4-5 hour charge. Then to a cold boot of your TF. (instructions in my signature links).

A decently long cable would be advisable so as not to put pressure on the port when plugged in.
