Another 3 wins for the Eee Pad Transformer

The Eee Pad Transformer has been awarded gadget of the year, however the tablet has impressed top UK review website, TrustedReviews.com even more as the guys handed Tablet of the Year 2011, Laptop of the Year 2011 and even Product of the Year 2011 award to the TF101!
TrustedReviews Editor, Cliff Jones, commented: “We felt that the Transformer deserved to win in both categories due to its clever design, build quality, versatility and excellent value. It impressed our judges who had no hesitation in naming it Product Of The Year 2011.”

    Thanks for sharing.

Its interesting that despite not really advertising their products all that much...when it comes down to "experts" regularly evaluating technology...ASUS does very well in competitive reviews.

I have to admit before looking at which tablet I was going to buy, I hadn't heard all that much about the TF, I had heard of it, but since getting one its everywhere!

Well, moto advertised the hell out of the moto xoom and look at what kind of a failure that is. They advertised the thing as a direct competition to the ipad, and yet they made it almost twice as thick, almost twice as heavy, and almost twice the price as the ipad. What disappoints me even more is that most tech media sources still reference the xoom as the representative of android tablet platform.

Despite the transformer's success for innovation and sales, why in the world are tech media still half ignoring this great piece of technology and keep insisting on talking about the xoom when it's obvious the xoom is a huge failure?

I'm kind of the same way. Basically I had never heard of the asus company until my eye fell upon an item at BBC News online: the tf was named Gadget of the Year by Stuff magazine. Never heard of either the magazine or the tablet. But the more we looked, the more we liked.

Asus engineers really hit the jackpot this time. While other companies advertised the hell out of their tablets, asus just sort of quietly released it into the market. I'm glad in the end the judges realized the huge advantages that the TF has over everything else as oppose to just sales numbers. Nobody can dispute the ipad 2's sales number. Apple's marketing campaign really paid off there.

I'd never heard of the transformer either. I do have a netbook and desktop by ASUS and love them both so when I wanted a tablet I googled ASUS tablet. I eventually made my way here and after reading some of the posts decided this was the tablet I had to have. Within a week I had tablet and dock. There is no better advertising then satisfied customers.
