Funny how the banner at the top of the page says "Asus recommends Windows 7"... :-) Hmmm... Yeah the new Eee Pad looks tempting!

I must say I am kind of shocked to see how fast the Transformer is being updated with a new model. I hope Asus doesn't "orphan" their current model and stop it's updates to focus just on the new TF. That would suck pretty bad and will cause me to seriously think twice before buying any more Asus products in the future.

Asus had to otherwise they would lose significant market share. The new Tegra 3 chip is coming out and all the major Android tablet producers are making new tablets containing this chip. Asus was forced to as well, despite launching the Transformer 1 earlier this year as otherwise they would loose a lot of market share to companies like Samsung and Motorola.

One spec that stands out: Estimated_Battery:Life: 14.5 hours

Not sure if that's for the tablet alone, but it sure would be nice. Is the Tegra 3 known for more efficient power use?
