Asus Padfone 2 Reportedly Sold Nearly 1 Million Units

I always want to ask the same question when I read statistics about sales of products of this type - "sold to whom?"

Sold to retailers?
Sold to wholesalers?
Or are these just order book quantities?
Or actual sales to end users?

I doubt I will ever get an answer...

Sometimes I wonder about that too. Statistically, Android supposedly has 32% market share in my country, vs 32% for Apple. Yet on our site, which gets millions of views each month, iOS represents 88% of traffic, and Android about 8%. You'd think those numbers would be closer.

Where are Padfones sold? That might answer why we see no users. Maybe they're mainly sold in countries where English isn't the dominant language?

asus seems to be abandoning keyboard docks on latests offerings as seen here on memo 10" (article states optional bluetooth keyboard instead)
