Asus are as quick off the mark as ever as the first Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update rolls out to the Asus Transformer Pad TF300.

Not much more to say really

But if you have a tf300, you might wish to scoot on over to TF300T firmware - JR003C.XX_epad-10.4.2.9-20120809 - update to jelly bean ready to read all about it.

This is just the first roll-out. TF101, 201 and 700 owners this is your imminent future. We're all going to be upgrading from ICS to Jelly Bean. I'm a TF101 owner but am paying attention to the TF300 upgrade to see where the upgrade will be bumpy or smooth. What apps make the transition and which don't.

Yes... I am not in a hurry. My TF101 works a treat on ICS and I would not like that to be changed by a half baked version of JB. Perhaps I'll turn off auto update...
