Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Passes Through FCC

The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity passed through it's FCC testing on its way toward retail shelves. This one was a WiFi equipped version, and there is still no word yet on a 4G LTE variety yet. This tablet could be a real contender to compete head-on with the Apple iPad. This has a screen almost as impressive as Apple's tablet, with a whopping 1920×1200 (1080p) resolution.

The device will supposedly launch in Europe first on July 10th and then come to the States on or after that date.

You and me both! But I doubt it. I'm still trying to find out if the TF 201 dock will fit it or not! Talk about keeping people in the dark!

Maybe. But I am going to guess that will be a big fat no. But, that could be wrong too.

Darn Fred, I was really hoping they would break the pattern and allow 1 dock to slip thru their fingers! I was really thinking that the body styles of the TF 201 and TF 700 were identical but I guess with the plastic back there will be a difference.

I would agree-- it'll get it's own custom-fit dock. And as far as I can tell? The only real difference is the shape of the hinge...

... did anyone else but me notice the videos of Asus' new PADFONE video, the dock looks identical to the TF101's apart from the hinge? A hacking opportunity if ever I saw one...
TF101 B70 series, USA running Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.3, rooted. 64gb microSDXC, keyboard dock with 32gb microSDHC in an adapter
Dell Streak 7 running Honeycomb 3.2, rooted. 64gb SDXC. Mainly used as a music player.
Virgin Mobile Optimus Slider, rooted -- frequently used as WiFi hotspot. 16gb microSDHC.

It has been already confirmed by local Asus representatives it will. Read XDA developers forums etc.

If the dock is the same i might just pick one up now. So when i order the Infinity i wont have to worry about the dock then.
