I received the update up here in Canada. I didn't even notice it had updated, wasn't there yesterday but this morning I noticed the new Installed/All columns.

Too bad. The inability of the TF101 to pass rented Google Movies through the HDMI cable to an HDTV really bugs me. Sure, I can get around it by front-ending the TV with a Windows-based PC
and then use the HDTV as a monitor. I then go to Youtube via IE, find my rented movie and play it. But when I travel and want to watch rented Google movies on a big screen TV, I want the simplicity of plugging the TF101 into the TV with the HDMI cable. I don't want to haul around another PC.

I've gotten so frustrated by this that I uploaded a Youtube video on the subject. I'm hoping that I can get a bunch of other TF101 users to add their comments. If I can get enough, then maybe
we can generate enough muscle to get ASUS to take action, perhaps with the cooperation of Google.

I watched the video. Bummer that it's not working. But I just wondered if you had tried not running the google app and just connect the HDMI to the TV/monitor. Then, once you have connection established and it's displaying the the TF101 screeen, start the app and see if the movie shows on the monitor.

I have this same issue and I have tried your above mentioned order of operations and unfortunately, it still does not work. Oh and I have not received the GPlay update on my TF but have received it on my DINC2 phone, in the U.S. Doesn't really look like much of a difference but I do like how you can view all of the apps that you have ever downloaded. I do wish there was an option to remove apps from this list though since there are some that I downloaded and uninstalled because they were unsatisfactory for one reason or another.

How so? It is only showing you what you have installed / uninstalled

Got the update to 3.5.15 today. I like the tabbed interface.

Still wish there was some way to alphabetize the "All" list, takes forever to find an old app!

The history of every app you installed, searched, and looked at is indexed and uneditable by you, e.g. they own that data not you. This data is synched to comprise an archival type against everything else they can possibly collect information on to create shareholder value.

I find it all a bit disturbing. You may not but don't act like the change of privacy is trivial. Its an incredible break from the privacy enjoyed by all humans up to this point. Its akin to be on surveillance 24/7 with an incredibly high exit cost.
