issues with using the pen
Hi, i've had this problem for a very long time and nothing i've done or searched has solved it. Every 5 seconds or so using my pen, the ink on the screen will suddenly jolt and draw something random, which I will have to delete. I use the pen on applications such as Microsoft Edge, Onenote and Word, but the same thing happens on them. The only place i have found this to not work is in the sketchbook in the windows ink workspace.
It's really frustrating as I write on my tablet a lot for school work etc. Does anyone know of a fix, or has anyone had a similar problem?
Thank you

No fix just reset your PC and done.

Hi dominolova, allow us to apologize for the troubles. The reset function has 2 options. You can either remove all files or keep your files. However, any apps or programs that you install will be removed and you will need to reinstall them. The issue explained seems to be hardware related and a reset should resolve this issue. Ensure that your charger is connected throughout this process. Thank you for providing us with an update. Are you experiencing the same issues as before?

Yes, the pen is still malfunctioning but it's not as frequent as it was before the reset

Hi,
I am fighting with Asus (of which I will never buy anything again and I do not recommend everyone to do it since they make lousy products and bad assistance) due to problems with the pen/stylus. Practically if my hand does not touch the screen or I use a tissue between the hand and the screen the writing is continuous, while if the hand as normal touches the screen the writing is intermittent.
In particular I understood that if the hand touches the screen before the pen (or before it is close enough to be detected) the writing will be intermittent, while if the pen touches the screen before the hand and then the pen always remains in the detection range without never take it away the writing will be continuous but doing this is almost impossible. Asus says that writing is as natural as with a real pen, all lies. These are the videos I made:
1)
2)
The problem is with Asus and ELAN Microeletronics which supplies pen and digitizer technology.
Have you solved it somehow? Once a user had commented to me that he had solved with an inexpensive pen on Amazon but does not tell me which one.
Thanks bye,
Luca
