Unable to do a full reset

Hi, I am trying to do a full factory reset and start again with my Mini. I get pass the 'Resetting this PC', the system says it is 'Restarting', the screen goes black and restarts. Then I get 'Preparing' with the ASUS logo. Next I see 'Uploading changes', then all of a sudden the screen changes to blue and I see the message 'Reset this PC, There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made.'

All of the above will have taken 30minutes or so, and I am left with a machine that still hasn't been cleaned. This has happened every time I've tried to reset.

Is there an alternative way to completely remove all my personal settings and clean the machine?

    Thanks, Wendy

Welcome to the forum Wendy! I'm pretty sure there is an alternate way of wiping your device, but I'm just not that familiar with the T102HA. I'll bet one of our techy members will give you a hand shortly.

Hi wcollidge, allow us to apologize for the troubles. Please try the following steps:

    1. Completely turn off your device.
    2. Press the power button once to turn your device on.
    3. Immediately after pressing the power button, continuously tap "F9" on your keyboard.
    4. From the recovery screen that will appear, choose "Troubleshoot".
    5. Then "Reset"
    6. Then select the preferred option to start the reset process.
