    Windows Power Settings ignored

My new T102HA refuses to abide by my power settings. I have set it to shut off the display after 4 minutes and to enter sleep after 5 hours. But after a few minutes of non-use, it bypasses turning off the display and enters Sleep mode and I have to wake it up and re-login.

I'm running an updated Windows 10. This is quite frustrating.

Hi DrNorm, allow us to apologize for the inconvenience caused. In the power settings, you can choose them for while plugged in or on when the device is not plugged in. Are your settings set for both of them?

Let me assure you that I am very familiar with Power Settings. I know for a fact that they are all being ignored, both while on battery and while plugged in. As an experiment, I set all four (for screen and sleep, plugged in or not) to Never last night. when I got up this morning the tablet was asleep. This has never happened on any desktop, laptop or tablet I've ever worked on.

I had this problem on my Windows X notebook (not T102HA) .. check this:

    https://appuals.com/windows-10-sleep...of-inactivity/

Check down on the page where it talks about 'System unattended sleep timeout' .. but try resetting the plan defaults first, that can never hurt ..

In my case I think it was caused by creator's update.

As for my T102HA, so far it obeys the power setting perfectly.
