I got this tablet for two weeks now and I have to say it's a good device, great battery life, good size and weight. I have the 2gb ram version because, in my country, it is the only model that comes with the pen (the 4gb version does not come with the pen).

From all devices that I had so far, this has the worse wifi I ever saw. It works good only if I am in the same room with the wifi router. if there ae several walls between the router and tablet, it barely finds the network, it is a challenge to watch a youtube video in that way.
The only way to improve the wifi a bit is to install the driver mentioned in the posts above - 11.0.0.601
It does not completely fix the poor reception, but is far better than driver version V12.0.0.448.
The wifi problem of this tablet is hardware, maybe the anthena inside is very small. One option would be to open the tablet, and solder a bigger anthena.

However the less invasive partial solution for the wifi is to install driver version 11.0.0.601

The only thought I have is to try a USB WIFI dongle. If you get one from a reputable source and it does not help you can return it.

The solution I found is a bit different. Instead of taking a wifi dongle, I use my phone as a wifi repeater, since the phone has a good wifi reception, if I enable the wifi hotspot while being connected to the wifi, it becomes a repeater.

By finding that way I decided to keep this tablet, otherwise I would return it an got a samsung galaxy book instead
