    WiFiSyncAgent seems to have another functions so I don't disable it.
    I found another solution works for me.
    Go to <ASUS CONSOLE Install Path>(C:\Program Files\ASUS\ASUS Console)
    find WiFiSyncAgent.exe.config and WiFiSyncAgent.vshost.exe.config (both are need to modify , I don't know why)
    modify
    <setting name="STRING_WIFISYNC_FORCE_ON" serializeAs="String">
    <value>1</value>
    </setting>

    as

    <setting name="STRING_WIFISYNC_FORCE_ON" serializeAs="String">
    <value>0</value>
    </setting>

    re-start WiFiSyncAgent . Then wifi connection works well.

    That's all , good luck.

    1- Push Window Key+X -> Computer Managment -> Task Sheduler
    2- Select Asus Wifi Sync Agent, click right button on mouse and chose disable.
    Works perfectly for me! Thank you soundspace

    Hi Larry, sorry I am not very good in the Windows stuff, but you mentioned need to modify 02 files, it is clear about WiFiSyncAgent.exe.config cause the xml section there is exactly as you posted, just a matter to change from "1" to "0", but the other file (WiFiSyncAgent.vshost.exe.config) does not contain any section like the one you suggest to modify... so what should I do with this file? or what to modify in there?
    Thanks / David

    Hi davidpicone :
    I don't know about your asus console's version.
    my version is v1.1.6 above.

    I think you no need to modify the two files now.
    you can go to asus support to get asus console for trio v1.1.9 (The latest version now)
    v1.1.9 completely solves the problem.

    the .exe file is easy to modify, i have the same problem like u Davidpiccone and i try to insert all the tex to the file and it works. now in my vshost.exe file u can read that:

    "<userSettings>
    <WiFiSyncAgent.Properties.Settings>
    <setting name="STRING_TRIO_MODEL" serializeAs="String">
    <value>TX201LA</value>
    </setting>
    <setting name="STRING_WIFISYNC_FORCE_ON" serializeAs="String">
    <value>0</value>
    </setting>

    <setting name="STRING_LOG_MODE" serializeAs="String">
    <value></value>
    </setting>
    </WiFiSyncAgent.Properties.Settings>
    </userSettings>"
