Question My tablet won't turn on

I read some forum discussion where people suggested to charge the tablet until the light goes green. I did that and still my tablet won't turn on. When it is docked and I press the Android button on the keyboard to switch to my tablet. It just goes black. I tried holding the button down for 30 seconds, I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions?

Undock the tablet, then press the power button on the back of the tablet. It should turn on, if i does not then press and hold the power button on the back of the tablet for 30 seconds. If it still does not turn on you have an RMA situation.

I've had a similar problem with mine, the dock works fine with a TV but the display is not working nor is the tablet. it seems like its switched on but i cant see anything because its so dim. anybody else face this problem? it was ok until it went into deep sleep and now it seems the android is conflicting with it somehow.

I have a similar problem: base unit of my Trio works fine when plugged into external monitor, but the tablet has run out of power and now won't charge, whether plugged into the base unit, or plugged into a charger as a standalone. Any hints?

    Try trickle charging the tablet.

    With the tablet turned OFF
Connect it to either a 500ma/5v phone charger or to a powered on & not sleeping PC USB port.
Leave it connected for at least 12 hours. Longer, even up to 72 hours will not hurt it any.
Then try connecting to your a/c charger again to see if it will accept a charge at that point.

Much the same happens to my Trio: the dock works fine with an external monitor. When I plug in the tablet, both, tablet and dock, will not work anymore! When I uncouple them, sometimes they work again after a while. Or I have to "hard reset" them.

What helps reliably: I turn off the tablet (regular shutdown via power button) and the dock. Then I couple them. Then I turn on the dock or the tablet.

Difficulty now: when I try to switch, there is a certain chance that I end up in the above described situation. Is this just a software problem or perhaps a hardware problem with the recognition of the docked tablet? Any idea?

    Thanks and greetings!
