Did you uninstall the older version and reboot prior to installing the new version?
You may want to uninstall the is switcher completely, reboot and then reinstall the new version on the ASUS site.

I have a clean install (no recovery) and get the error, so no older Version was installed before

I'd suggest to uninstall the ATK package, restart then reinstall the ATK package. Restart, then install the Trio OS switcher.

    Error 1001 - need solution

[QUOTE=paintballeralex07;348964]I'd suggest to uninstall the ATK package, restart then reinstall the ATK package. Restart, then install the Trio OS switcher.

The ATK package suggestion did not work for me on Windows 10. I still get error 1001.
Has anyone found another solution the OS Switch problem?
    Please...
