Picked mine up at John Lewis on the day of release here in the UK, it's been working nicely ever since. A nice upgrade over my previous tablet (Transformer Prime, with its woefully slow flash memory). Was pleasantly surprised at the inclusion of VGA and Ethernet adapters in the box along with a soft case... none of which were provided with the Prime.

The only issue I've been banging my head on the wall about is the fact that the Play Store point blank refuses to install Firefox. After about 10 attempts over several days (all resulting in an "invalid package" error) I finally found a thread on the Firefox forums explaining that the reason it won't install is because Firefox only compiles for ARM based devices... and of course the Trio runs on an Intel Atom. If anyone else is having trouble with this, install the Beta version, it has support for Intel based devices (albeit experimental, hence beta)

What type/size charger port is on the keyboard? I usually use an iGO or Kensington Wall/Auto charger and did not see anything about the tip size.

I'd like to know the size too. Can't find it anywhere, and the ASUS support team can't tell me either. One thing I do know is that it's NOT 3.0mm x 1.1 mm which is to fit the UX42VS UX52VS Zenbook UX32A UX32VD UX21 UX31- I bought a super power supply from Leicke to fit those (Amazon UK Leicke Green UltraSlim Power Supply Charger Power Adapter for Asus), hoping it would be the right fit and had to send it back.

I measured the DC plug with a micrometer.
    Outer diameter: 3.99mm
    Inner hole diameter: 1.2mm
So I would guess it is a 4mm x 1.1mm, if you can find one.....

    Hi all,

I read one amazon.de customer review. The guy complained about an awfully slow Android experience on the Trio. He wrote that it even does not work to move apps to SD card (option greyed out). His conclusion/explanation was that it is no real full android but only some kinda emulated version. Any bad Android experience on your side?

And one question about the exchange of HDD/SSD: Since not both drives will be in the Trio at the same time, will I replace first and connect the old HDD in an external case via USB or the other way around?

I have had no problem with Android.Certainly not slow. If you Google moving apps to sd card then you should see that this is a Transformer / tablet problem. Apparently there's an app for it.

does anyone else notice the tablet feels loose when docked to the base, mine seems to be able to wiggle quite a bit , and i was wondering if that was normal or if there is an issue with my unit

I bought a rocketfish 65W adapter from Frys the other day and tip N11 seems to be a fit! Nice small charger too.
