Hello everyone, on the paper, it looks like the Asus Transformer Book Trio can do WiDi. Processor i5 or i7, Intel graphics chip are the requirements. Has anyone tested it yet?

I think that if it does work that'll be in Win 8.1 as that's part of the 'package'. Obviously can't confirm that until ASUS release drivers that'll solve the screenoff/sleep issues. Some sellers advertise the unit with Intel WIDI support, which supports the miracast standard, not sure if that's talking about the pad, the PC or both....

There is a new driver update from intel on the road. this fixes the sleep issue and adds the WiDi Feature. see here:

Hello all,

I have tried the miracast option on the android part of trio , works great ! I bought a device to attach to my non widi ready samsung d6000 series NETGEAR Connected Entertainment (70 euros)

I did not get the windows widi to work yet.....

will update later
