MicroHDMI to VGA Adapter

Does anyone know if this adapter will work with our Trio? I want to use it on the dock station.

No, it wouldn't work. The Trio has Mini DisplayPort, not Micro HDMI. The Trio comes with an adapter in the box anyway, so you shouldn't need to buy one separately unless you want to keep one at work and one at home (which is useful).

Well, mine didn't come with an adapter in the box, and I do have a Mini DisplayPort AND a MicroHDMI port on my Dock. It's on the right side of the keyboard. I've used the HDMI to connect to a TV. I just don't know if it'll work with this HDMI to VGA Adapter.

Oh... apparently mine has a MicroHDMI too! How have I never noticed that? Well, ignore my previous post then lol

Anyway... I suspect it would work, but I'm a bit surprised you didn't get the bundled display port adapter. My Trio came with both a USB->Ethernet and DisplayPort->VGA adapter in the black cardboard box which contained the manual and a few other odds and ends... I'd double check your box to make sure it's not in there, save you buying something. They are quite small so they'd be easy to miss.

I double checked it already. I bought mine 2 days after it's launch. I guess other vendors may pack it as a bonus. Anyway, mine didn't come with any of those cables you mentioned.

The ones sold now in The Netherlands (including mine) are also not shipped with any converter cables, only two chargers and a micro-usb cable.
I ordered two converters at DealExtreme but that may take some time now around Chinese New Year.
