    Would you recommend it ?

Hello there, question to the proud owners of the t302,
after some time spent with it, would you advise buying it ?
I love the speccs, the battery life, but I don't know if it's user serviceable, at least to replace the hard drive.
I currently own a surface pro 3, that I had to buy with a broken screen to replace it and at the same time upgrade the SSD. That is the only solution to access the guts !
I hope that is not the case with this device ?
    Thanks for your inputs !

I haven't gotten it yet, but I can answer one of your questions anyway: the hard drive (or rather, SSD) is *not* user-serviceable: it is soldered. Of course anything is ultimately serviceable if you have the skills, but that's about as much on the far end of "user-serviceable" as it can get, and will certainly void your warranty if you try.

Really ? That would be weird, I thought it was standard M2 ssd ? No idea about the length though.
Anyway, if the screen is not removable it does not really matter ☺

That's what I've heard before. But anyway, as you say, even just opening the screen is a risky operation (consider the other poster who recently complained about a screen that got cracked merely by docking it... what could happen if trying to open it goes wrong?) and certainly voids the warranty, as it's not really anything like a standard laptop with hatches intended to be user-serviceable.
