    Question Linux on this one?

Has anyone tried running Linux on the T302CA (I specifically use Debian but any information about any Linux would be appreciated)?

I am in the market for replacing my T100TA, which, aside from having poor Linux support and being outdated in terms of hardware, is now becoming faulty by refusing to charge half of the time.
The T302CA looks quite palatable to me, although the price is more than I had budgeted, but it would basically end up replacing my desktop, too. However, Linux support is a must.
If Linux support is absent or unknown, any hints on other similarly-specced (and similarly-priced... honestly, anything more than the T302CA's price is too much) device that do support Linux?
I did read that the T100CHI run Linux quite well, but its hardware flaws (complete lack of USB ports aside from a microUSB 3.0 port? who even uses those anymore? and Bluetooth keyboard with bad battery life?) make it less than impressive...
The T302CA sounds like it fixes most of these issues.

T100 battery is replaceable for about $30 if you do it yourself.
Nirsoft's Battery Info View will display battery wear level.
Ubuntu works & so does Android (RemixOS).
    Android

I will never buy another tablet, they are considered disposable like phones.
The T302CA is too new & too expensive, almost $1000.

I have actually ordered it for €600, although it's back to €700 now on Amazon. That's still expensive compared to the €250 I can currently find a T100HA for (but that one... I'm afraid there is no hope for Linux working reasonably well on it), but luckily a far cry from $1000. It's not in stock, though, so I still have time to cancel the order if you folks tell me there is some important incompatibility with Linux.

I know you can use Linux and Android on a T100, as I'm writing *from* one right now, but that's a T100TA (similar to the T100TAM you have), and not a T100HA, and even then. Linux works far from optimally on it, needing a custom kernel and even then filling dmesg with errors that have a lot of practical consequences. The T100HA is worse, because while Baytrail is at least officially supported by Intel with Linux, Cherrytrail just isn't.

Have you gotten your T302 back, JarlSX? Amazon still hasn't sent me mine, and well, I'm willing to wait for it and hope Linux works, but I'd still live some prior reassurance if at all possible-
