Specs are not bad.. not so different from my NEC. Similar graphics, M.2 SSD, etc. But my NEC is larger (13.3"), and weighs about the same (749 grams, vs 750), but the NEC weight is with keyboard.. the transformer keyboard adds another 700 grams. But maybe the price is good, I haven't found any quoted yet.

This T300 Chi refresh was first leaked last summer some time, and I now suspect it is vapor ware. Since that time the Transformer 3 line has been launched. For my part, I really like the looks of the T302CA and I hope it's not just vapor-ware. I really like my T300 Chi but I have three major gripes with it: 1) The battery life isn't so great. 2) The Bluetooth keyboard poses its own set of problems (as I don't fly very often bt kb wouldn't be so bad for me if it didn't take so dang long to connect every single time it falls asleep). And 3) I've had some big frustrations with my synaptics pens.
The T302CA seems to address the first two complaints. If Asus actually makes this model and it also ditches the Synaptics pen and goes with Wacom AES or even N-Trig like the Transformer 3 uses (yay!!!), I think this device would move to the top of my wish list.

Here's an article that was written back in late April, 2016. Interesting to note it has a battery as well in the keyboard.

Asus Transformer Book T302 Hybrid Tablet Officially Debuts With Skylake Processors, USB Type-C And More : TECH : Tech Times

Here's a review published November 11th with a lot of benchmarks:

Wait, so this thing actually exists? Sweet!
I'll read the review now. Now that I've had the T300 Chi for a few more months, I've added some things to my list of improvements I'd want to see for it to win me over. For example, my keyboard has gotten "spongier" over time, especially the space bar, and it is beginning to actually hurt to type on it for extended sessions. I hope there are signs that the kb is sturdier.

I think the real way to make the T300chi concept work would be to minimize the bezels (but make the keyboard edge-to-edge, so the kb isn't shortened up any). That would trim out some weight that would make up for the added weight necessary to fix its major flaws (poor battery life, cheap kb, lack of pogo connections, etc.).

After looking over the review, I don't think this will end up being my next device, but that is some awesome battery life!
If the keys on the keyboard aren't better constructed and there is no more key travel, despite the keyboard being thicker, that's a disappointment.
For my part, I really like the ultra-slimness of the T300chi for practical and aesthetic reasons, and I could live without USB ports on the base of the T302CA if it meant a lighter device with a slim keyboard.
