    camera image inverted

    The image on the front facing camera are inverted (upside down). Effects all programs / apps. Which is problematic, for me. How do I correct that issue?

    Windows 10, pre-spring 2018 OS. Camera device in Device manager is listed as Intel AV Stream. Driver is dated 7/4/2015, version 20.10154.5740.705, Back facing camera is fine.

    Hi Mischievous, we're very sorry you're experiencing this issue and we will be more than happy to assist. Can you confirm when the issues started? Was this after a recent Windows update or any other changes? Can you also provide us any further information on what you had attempted previously to correct this issue?

    Please try the following below:

    1. Click on Search bar.

    2. Type “Troubleshooting” without the quotes and click on Troubleshooting.

    3. Click on View All on the left panel of the screen.

    4. Click on Hardware and Devices.

    5. Click on Next and follow the prompts to run the troubleshooter.

    If the issue still persist, please send us an email with your serial number to socialsupportus@asus.com, for us to have your unit sent in for servicing.

    I ran the troubleshooter and there is no change. Doing some internet research it is a driver issue. What driver do you recommend? Again running a fresh W-10 without Spring 2018 update. Problem has existed since W-10

    As for returning it for service: respectfully what would you do that we could not do via this avenue?

    Thanks for trying the above steps Mischievous. Based on the operating system "Windows 10", there are no drivers for the camera on the Asus website. The drivers for the camera is built within the Window 10 operating system. Please navigate to device manager where you had located the driver, uninstall the camera driver and restart the device. If the issue persists, you will have to do a "System Refresh" of the operating system. Before you system refresh your notebook, please make sure to backup all your data and that the A/C adapter or power cord is plugged in.

    Step to do the system refresh:

    1.Navigate to Settings. You can get there by clicking the gear icon on the Start menu.
    2.Select "Update & security"
    3.Click Recovery in the left pane.
    4.Click Get started under Reset this PC.
    5.Click "Keep my files".
    6.Click Next.
    7.Get Started.

    Deleted device. Reinstalled. No change. Whereas I am running a fresh Win 10, resetting it, will not do anything.

    Any other suggestions?

    Maybe try an older ASUS driver version if there is one available.
