Geolocation Sensor and InveSense Sensor not working

    Hello,

I am hoping someone can suggest a fix for this problem.

I've installed all the drivers from ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Driver & Tools - T200TA (Windows 8.1, 32bit)

But the Geolocation Sensor and InvenSense Sensor are not working despite installing these drivers. I have tried reinstalling, enabling/disabling, disabling fast boot but nothing will get these to work.

    This is what I'm seeing.

    Any ideas? Thanks

Thanks, I tried all the historical versions of the drivers but the same result. I can only assume the sensors are faulty if they won't start. I will return it to store.

I *think* the InvenSense is the motion sensor/compass.

Microsoft has an online troubleshooter for device issues:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...evice_problems

You might give it a shot.

Ok so i got this problem also and got it solved by doing the following
1.) complete wipe and reinstallation of windows 10 (yes you have to wipe the wholle mmc, atleast I didnt manage to do it another way)
2.) after the initial boot do not connect to your network. Leave the tab networkless
3.) install all the drivers except invenSense and GPS
    4.) reboot
5.) go to the Device manager (right click on start)
6.) you will have 2 Unknown devices. Find the one with saying when you open properties connected to or location I2c port this one is the invensense
7.) go to update driver and select manualy install then select all drivers and Have disk
8.) point to the invensense directory and install
9.) win10 will automaticaly install sdo driver v2
10.) for gps which is the other unknown device connect to the internet and install driver from microsoft
    11.) enjoy

Well I did it and it works for me. Had trouble with it installed windows at least 20times and finally got it to work like this

Try and get back to me. Wonder if it will work for you.

Hi, I tried this method, but it didn't work since the gps driver wasn't available using Windows Update. However, I found the right and updated driver (version 20.23.5685.18) that works great. If someone needs it, I can upload it.
    Bye
