Hard Drive Maxed with nothing installed

Just recently bought a 32gb transformer and I noticed I have a almost maxed HD. I only have chrome and office installed and I have run CCleaner, disk cleanup, and uninstalled any program I can. Treesize says I am only using 16 GB so where is the rest? Second I notice that there is a windows folder and a windows old folder which houses my user folder and a almost identical windows folder. In my experience windows old is a save of your old files from previous install. So what the heck is going on ????

    Thanks everyone

    Welcome

From your profile, I must assume you have a T200.
    It sounds as if either...
    1) This is a pre-owned or refurb machine
    2) You have upgraded to W10

In either case, a search of the forum would have revealed that...
    1. Windows Old is the previous W8.1 & can be deleted
    2. 32gb is barely enough for Windows - is uses 12-16gb on its own. Add to that 6gb ish for Office & you are almost there. You can read more in the T100 FAQs section - the T200 is pretty much identical other than the screen size.

    Moved to T200

    Windows (~14GB)
    Hidden partitions: System (~100MB), Recovery (~700MB), Reserved (~128MB), Restore (~8GB) = 9GB
Windows Disk Management will show all.

Windows.old is whatever it was upgraded from, could be Win10 version or Win8.1.
Use Windows Disk cleanup to get rid of most of it.

Clear System Restore files, they can get very large.
