    T101ha not charging

    Just got a brand new T101ha and the original charging block and cable will not charge the unit.
    While connected windows shows “connected, discharging” and even while the unit is off and charging over night, still does not charge.

    I will be returning the unit, but am wondering if I should try a replacement? Or do you think the next one will be faulty too?

    If you haven't tried it yet, I would try a trickle charge first: Connect it to your PC via USB for several hours, making sure the PC stays on for the duration. If the percentage rises some, then plug it into the wall socket, and see if it completely charges.

    I’ve already sent away for return. But I’m not very hopeful the next one won’t have the same issue. So if it sees a trickle charge it might kick it back to life and allow a full charge from a wall socket?

    That is the hope it seems that if the battery is completely discharged it does not like to take a charge from a high amp device. Sometimes doing the trickle charge gets the battery to then begin accepting a charge the normal way.

    Well I hope so, thing was even at like 60% it still wouldn’t accept a charge. But that was the old units. Here’s to hoping the new one is good out of the box.
