    Hi,
    No camera
    No sound
    No SD card
    No Bluetooth
    No auto rotation
USB mouse jumps about occasionally to bottom left
    HDMI output OK
    Charging OK
    USB OK
    Touch screen OK
    Onscreen keyboard OK
Screen orientation OK to physical keyboard
    WIFI OK
    When detached from keyboard OK

I am using this T101HA typing this update now whilst it's playing music using Google Chrome Cast. ( using Google Chrome not Chromium )
So it is usable on Linux. Great for taking to my work if I need to get on the internet.
I purchased it to replace my various EEE Books. So yes it's fast and usable.
Let me know if you wish for any more info.

    Cheers

I am having to use an external HDMI monitor as the Asus screen is working horizontal.
Microsoft Windows 10 is fully removed as there was not enough GBs storage for duel boot. Had to low level format.
    All the best.

    Hi!
The laptop screen is working fine out-of-the-box using Ubuntu 17.04 on T101HA-gr005t. It was necessary to adjust the orientation using arandr, and now I steel need some adjustments in Touch Screen.

Now I'm trying to find solutions to get sound and sdcard reader working...

    Good afternoon
I have now installed a Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Ubuntu MATE)
I have managed to make almost everything except the webcam.

For the soundcard I have found in a forum that the workaround was to prevent a specific module to load :

    edit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
and add the following line :

    blacklist snd_hdmi_lpe_audio

Then reboot and the sound will work.

Now I am looking for the webcam.
The Windows driver seems to be a "Camera_Intel_Skycam" or OV2680
I have looked all over but could not find any way to get it working.

Here is the PCI device list :

Hi, I have a T101H with partial success at installing Linux Mint Mate 19. I am keen to get a fully working Linux so I can remove Windows.

So far, I have only run a live install from the USB and the issues I have had are:-
when docked, Mint insists on portrait but the touchscreen is still landscape
Mint only uses ~50% of screen when docked.

I haven't got as far as checking all functionality of camera, sound etc.

I will follow this thread with interest and update my situation as time allows.
