T100HAN - Recovery does not work

Hello !

I'm new here. I have a T100HAN where the recovery does not work.
Therefore my question: is it possible to transfer / overplay the recovery partition from a identical tablet ?
If so, how do I do that ? The windows key should be stored elsewhere ? Thank you for a reply / help !

Key should be on MS servers attached to MS account. You can just download the latest version of WIN10 and install. Plus is you will not get all the added apps from ASUS. You will need to go to ASUS and get the drivers. Sometimes WIN10 drivers do not work so try the win8.1 drivers.

I've thought about that.
Now I just have to do a clean installation with all the drivers.
My misconception was that a 1 to 1 reflection was enough.

P.S.: Can I delete the recovery partition when I reinstall ?
It's no longer needed.

It should reformat the drive. One thing I failed to mention was depending what the win10 issue is you could do an in place install that would leave programs and data intact. Put the win10 image on a USB key and then boot into windows go to the USB key and select setup. As always to prevent loss of data make sure it is backed up, never know when something weird will happen.
