WIN10 will not make scheduled backup on SD card, any solutions?

When trying to configure BU to use the SD card, it said that removable memory can't be used.
I can make a BU when starting it manually.
I then found out, that it would do it, if the SD card is configured as a virtual drive BUT the virtual drive is disconnected at every reboot, so you have to attach it again.

There is an option for using a Network drive, so I ordered a NAS drive(that I needed anyway) but it's silly that you can't make and have BUs on the machine itself, it being a portable device.

I can't imagine why Microsoft is doing such silly things but has anyone found a solution?

    Not many people here?

I found a solution: Just like on WIN8.1 where there was no easy way of making scheduled backups I have now, on this T-100 WIN10 machine made a task schedule to run a command line for backing up on my SD card. This way, there is no blocking for BUs on SDcard.

I do BU on my NAS(WD MyCloud) as well but I suspect I'll have to move that if I ever need it, as I don't think the restore program can find a network disk BU.

This forum is not very busy anymore. The Transformer T100 series came out in early 2013 making it about 7 years old now. It's still a nice device that runs WIN10 and does a lot of basic PC tasks but you won't see very much activity due to the devices age.
    Rick, loving my T100TA-C1-GR Z3740 64GB Win 10
BIOS 314. All Windows updates except Bing. All Asus Live Updates. WIFI driver 5.93.99.210
I get 8-12 hrs use per charge using SLEEP mode. Warning, NEVER calibrate the touchscreen.
