T100 keyboard not working and charging/using via micro usb
The keyboard is not detected unless I tip and hold it manually so I'm assuming that there is a connection fault.
The machine works normally as a tablet, I want to use something called OctoPrint (3d printer control) it's installed and running But I need 2 usb ports or to be able to charge the T100 through the micro usb port whilst using the micro use port to control a printer.
Are there any powered usb hubs that will charge the tablet at the same time I'm using the port for the printer?
Even better is there any sensible way to fix the keyboard?
Thanks All

Or any way to modify the tablet to fit a second usb port

I don't believe the T100 battery can be charged through the keyboard USB port... only through the microUSB port on the tablet.
I do believe there was a discussion here for an option to use the microUSB port to charge the tablet as well as allow the connection of a powered USB hub. It required a special USB splitter cable to make it happen but I don't remember if anyone here ever purchased the cable to try it.
You might search here for that thread. stumble across it, I'll link it here.

So far all I have discovered about the workings of USB ports suggests that you can't charge through one and at the same time use it to control a printer

Hi, regards the keyboard. I had an issue with mine recognising the keyboard for about a minute then nothing. Turned out there is a power saving setting that drops out the Bluetooth radio resulting in loss of keyboard. To check if this is the case for you do the following:
Right click on start button at bottom left of home screen
Open 'Device Manager'
Double click on 'Bluetooth'
Double click on 'Bluetooth Radio'
You should see tabs at the top of the Bluetooth Radio screen, one of which is Power Management
Open the 'Power Management' tab
There is an option there to allow the system to switch off Bluetooth to conserve power. If this is ticked click on the box to de-select. Your keyboard should work fine now

yamuser... welcome. I see your device is the CHI model. You may be correct for that model but the when the early connected keyboard models came out, the keyboard directly connected to the tablet via a multi-pin connector. That keyboard had no Bluetooth.
