    Asus T100TA weird graphic glitches

    • Model number - T100TA
    • CPU - Z3775
    • Memory size - 64 GB
    • BIOS version - 314
    • Windows 10


    Hello, I was hoping I could get some help with an issue that I've had for quite a while.
    Otherwise working perfectly fine, my transformer of approximately 5 years sometimes has these glitches, that I will be showing in the shared pics.
    I have windows 10 and the drivers updated to their latest version, everything else seems to be working in order, BIOS and everything. I've even upgraded the graphics card, which actually required updating. I thought that would solve the issue, but unfortunately nothing has changed. It also doesn't happen all the time, and usually after I've been using it for a while throughout the day.
    I tried searching for answers and found some threads where people suggested to disable hardware acceleration, which I did, to no avail. I came across these forums and tried searching for a solution here, as I've found solutions to other issues I had here before. After researching I didn't find any threads with people who share the same issue. For that reason I was posting hoping to find someone who could possibly help me with this, and/or people who have or have had the same issue.

    the glitches are mostly like this and start sparsely, like little horizontal lines here and there that flicker, but can get very annoying, to the point of having to restart sometimes because they make stuff unreadable. It doesn't seem like it's hardware though, so I was wondering if it's driver related or maybe a bug, but like I said I've updated everything! :/

    Hope someone has an answer I have this issue intermittently a reboot fixes it for awhile. My guess a MS update messed up the graphic driver. Haven't taken the time to look for the problem yet since it is intermittent.

    If you want to take a stab at it try some of the older 8.1 drivers for the T100.

    Not sure what you mean by "I've even upgraded the graphics card..."
    I assume you didn't physically replace the graphics card because there is no physical graphics card like in a typical desktop PC.

    I suggest you roll back the graphics driver?

    I'm away from my T100 right now but later today I'll look at mine and see which graphics driver version I have on mine running Win10.

    That is the version I'm using also. Yesterday I did download the 8.1 drivers and reinstall, maybe just some corruption. Will let you know if it solved the issue.

    Thats the same driver I have, and I am using , the latest Windows Insider Build 18239

    Mine is on any browser no apps. It happens sporadically no rime or reason. SO infrequent not a big deal. You must remember the T100 was not built for windows 10, so may just be a weird hardware incompatibility that pops up.

    Any browser :P but I'm a bit of a multitasker and I noticed it only seems to happen after using it for a while and when I'm using a lot of programs at once and also watching videos etc., and when it does it will not stop until I restart it. I'm aware that this hardware is not meant for all the strain I put it through… We had some good times but maybe it's time to buy a new better convertible :P thanks for the help anyways
