    t100taf slow?

    hello to eveybody!
    I have the t100taf BING-DK024B (intel 1,33 ghz ; ram 2 GB ; eMMC 32 gb)
I read many good posts about enthusiastic owners of the same tablet.
But I'm not really satisfied whit it, mainly because it is really slow.
Slow after windows login, slow to open software, etc. So I have to ask: also yours?

I'm enough expert about computer and I know that it could depends by many reasons (but I can exclude virus, bloatware, etc) but it is slow also after fresh win10 installation. maybe it's to heavy windows10?

what CPU does it have, as i know some where sold with slow spus, infact they all have slow CPUs but some with really slow CPUs, most of the ones i have seen have a atom z3775 thats is fast anothe for this little thing as it boosted up to 2.3GHz.

intel dont list a z3735 but they do have a z3735d z3735f z3735g(1gb ram) z3735e(1gb ram), it must be ether of the first two as they are the only ones that support 2GB ram, but from what intel clames there is no dif between the two, they can all burst up to 1.8GHz, think that is the one they will only burst 1 core and not all 4 like the z3775 but could be wrong, but this could be why it feels slow, these atoms CPUs are not proformace beasts.

the z3735d and z3735f are really the same apart from the socket they plug in to, so doesnt really matter which one.

the base clock of all z3735 is 1.33GHz, under the right conditions it will burst (kind of like an overclock but will not harm the computer) up to 1.8GHz, some not shore if its the z3735 or not, will only clock 1 of the 4 cores to 1.8GHz, but from what i have seen by googling all 4 cores should burst up to 1.8GHz, but only if the CPU has the right conditions it will do this, in other words if its not too hot it will clock its self up to 1.8, but even at 1.33Ghz should be ok at web browsing for the most part little web based games might not run smoth on it.

dont really know how to see which cores its bursting up in windows, maybe cpuz?

as for burst, i have had my t100ta compilling for hours at 2.4GHz (its clock is 1.46GHz) with no problems, it did become warm to the touch but not hot.

i have to say this, compairing this little laptop to my big one, well this is slow, but the trade off is battery life, this can last 6 hours+ while my big laptop only 3 hours, it might be running fine its just your used to some thing with more power than a little atom CPU.

what are you trying to run on it? what seems slow to you? how much space is left on there? i know when disk space becomes low it can be come slow

Hi fuse, allow us to apologize for the troubles. Is it Windows 10 32 bit or 64 bit?

64-bit Windows won't work on any of the T100's because you guys (ASUSTeK Computer Inc) installed a 32-bit UEFI.
You also refuse to update it to 64-bit & update the microcode for the Spectre vulnerability.

Instead of apologies, why don't you escalate this to headquarters?
