    Bricked T100TA after Bios update

    I have 2 T100TAs

The first one I updated Bios from 227 to 314 using Winflash from Windows 10.
Had to update drivers fist to make Winflash work.
No problem with the update of Bios.

The second one though, refused to even start Winflash.
I tried different things, start as Administrator etc, but no luck.
When clicking on Winflash icon , nothing happened.

So I went to Bios using F2 and used EasyFlash
That started the update whitout problem.
    And the Bios was flashed.

But... after that it dont boot at all.
When pressing start button in upper left corner the power led flashes a couple of times, thats all.
Screen is completely black, nothing shows at all.

What can I do now ?

    Symptoms:
Led did flash white about 6 times (fast) when trying to power on the normal way, and then nothing would happen, and when plugged in, the LED
would be solid white. When trying to power on while on the charger, it would do the same flashing white LED by the power button, and nothing would happen. None of the button pressing combinations did anything. The screen never turned on or flickered, and the LED by the camera did NOT illuminate when I would try to turn it on.

    Sorry you've bricked your T100...
There's entire threads here dedicated to NEVER USE EASYFLASH and I don't beleive as I recall anyone has ever recovered from that mistake.

You'll likely have to send it to ASUS for repair.

    Same thing!

The same thing happened to me after a forced update that I kept declining. I hadn't flashed anything on the computer though. Just update and then brick.

its really easy to pull apart a t100ta, i have come back from a bad flash but you did need to remove the flash put it in a programmer and solder it back, you can do it with it still on the board but have had problems in the past doing that, doing it this way you do need a full dump of the bios and the tools to do this.
